My passions are multiple:
* For science
* For teaching students of all levels of background and motivation.
* For building a never-ending bank for questions that make students think, and 'get it'.
* For including MATH in the science classroom, especially in biology. For creating math-science collaboration across the disciplines.
* For implementing NGSS philosophy and standards in my classroom.
* For encouraging students to consider careers in biotechnology.
* For bringing students to nature around them, through field trips and guest speakers, community field trips
